Is it just that easy? - Absolutely! Dezember 1, 2008 Skatersally Having a relationship is not easy, especially when there are men and women involved. Many rules are to be regarded, i. e. do not call him firstly. So there is no need to wonder why the writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo put this item right on the first pages. Afterwards they work on with weird excuses men often use for their absent time. By the way, who never heard something about hard work, not ready for a tight relationship or just an ill mother to care for? Some situations are really unbelievable and often made me laugh. Nevertheless, there is never going to be a good excuse for cheating. Obviously it is typical for women to find excuses themselves why he is not calling or even why he forgot her birthday or worse. To sum up I would not understand this book as guidance for relationships. The twelve chapters are constructed to start with some letters to the editor. Each of them describes a more or less reliable behaviour of a male partner. The following letter is the answer of Greg Behrendt with mainly one message: he is just not that into you. By the way, nearly every guy has to be sorted out. So we just hope that women will not decide too fast and ignore the special one. The advice is given in a witty way and stimulates to proof your own behaviour. Women can expect to be treated as politely as a man is able to, but it is also a small boundary to be too needy. Of course, everybody wants to be emotionally protected and feel valuable, so it is up to everybody to find the right partner. That is not an easy job, so do not waste your time with guys who do not own your attention. These phrases could not be repeated too much, so read this book and have fun with it. It is a great entertainment. Women who love SatC will love this one too. Other publications from Greg Behrendt are "It's called a break-up because it's broken" and "It's just a date".
should be compulsory for all women!!! August 17, 2008 Lizzlybear (Vienna, Austria) if you're a fan of sex and the city, you'll love this book! (remember the episode when miranda realises this one guy is "just not that into her"? that's what this book focusses on. there are no mixed messages. if a guy doesn't - in some obvious way - show you he is really interested in you, he is not!). a must read for every woman, single or in a relationship. very refreshing! it really gave me a reality check as most of the stories mentioned sounded only too familiar! the underlying message is very positive: every woman is worth having guys pursue her, and not the other way round!
Pflichtlektuere fuer jede Frau!!!
