A Classic Game! February 10, 2007 Akida93 (Earth) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
when I was first presented this, I didn't think much of it, being more interested in strategy or 'Tycoon' games. However, The Simpsons Hit and Run turned out to be a great gaming experience. I won't spoil it for you, but I'll tell you about what made this game so great: Graphics - quite good. This game doesn't rely on special effects alone to impress you. I've seen games (and films) which are all graphics and no real plot or storyline. Storyline - Funny with an ironic twist. Vehicles - Plenty to choose from, from the family sedan to the Mr Plow truck. Or you could just stop a car from the road, hop in and go for a ride! Missions - Fun with all the adrenaline flowing. For once, the missions are actually challenging and not ridiculously easy. Humour - lots of it, making the game light-hearted and enjoyable. I could go on forever, but there isn't enough space. What I'm saying is that The Simpsons Hit and Run is a great game that I am proud to have played. Ignore the other bad reviews; they don't know a good game when they see one.
Simpsons Hit and Run March 18, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I think this game is the best for adults and children all around. It is REALLY gripping and the story board is not at al, dodgy. It is also really funny!
Great all round! February 27, 2006 Mr. C. Harrisson (England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great budget game which never fails to amuse even the most serious of people. The graphics are good and there are handy short-cuts and different racing helpers to help you pass tasks. If you really can't pass a task after several tries you can skip it. Excellent game the only down-side is a long installation time and you have to be there all the time swopping the disks. Well worth the money.
I Cannot Load this game on to my computer January 27, 2006 Paula Connolly (Ireland) 2 out of 10 found this review helpful
I cannot load this game onto my brand new computer with Windows XP media Center. The computer more than meets the minimum requirements of the game but it will not load. There are 3 discs to load and it always stalls on disc 2. I have rang and e-mailed the technical support for the game and they have not been able to give me any GOOD reason for this. Their latest reason for this game not to load is that the game will not load onto a CD burner.
Great!! July 20, 2005 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Great game. You get to drive around Springfield as The Simpsons characters. Can get a bit boring if it takes a while to pass a task, but overall a very good game.
